Explorer's Way runs from Adelaide in South Australia to Darwin in the Northern Territory, following the route of John McDouall Stuart, a famous Australian explorer who was the first to traverse the continent in 1862. E' questa la strada che attraversa il Northern Territory da nord a sud ed unisce località di grande interesse quali il parco nazionale di Litchfield, quello di Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge), le grotte di Cutta Cutta ed i Devil's Marbles, per giungere poi ad Alice Springs, da dove iniziare bellissime deviazioni ad est o ad ovest. Considerare da dieci giorni in su per vedere tutto con calma.
